The role will work together with global reliability lab manager to build up RA robotics China reliability lab, to have the right capacity and capability to run all kind of tests to secure product reliability from component to system level in the whole life cycle. This will include develop roadmap and operation model of reliability lab based on current set up, build up and maintaining experimental capabilities, maintaining instruments, and generally managing lab facilities etc…
Major responsibilities:
Follow roadmap and operation model of reliability lab to improve products reliability and support robotics business growth
Oversee laboratory testing, evaluation of results, and proficiency of testing
Analyzing ABB Robotics released electronic components regarding lifetime and quality
Building up test-equipment to stress components, determine lifetime
Fast repetition of customer failures and find electronic weaknesses
Revise and implement new policies and procedures, and implement changes to work processes
Coordinate resource and support R&D for product maintenance activities based on design related product quality issues both from field and factory.
Other relevant tasks from the management.
Skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or above) of major in electronics.
Experience in lab management or equivalent experience in advanced manufacturing environment.
Possess experience and ability to build up scalable lab according to business needs.
Strong leadership, good at communication and coordination
Solid experience in product lifecycle test and have rich theorical knowhow and data analysis skill
Solid experience of working in international environments.
