JOB SUMMARY
In this position, you will work with the team to identify and fix performance, observability, scalability, and reliability issues
RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up and analyzing performance metricsContinuously enhance reliability, performance and scalability of our productsOn-call support for critical systems and lead incident response. Participate in the investigation processDrive efficiencies in systems and processes: capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring, and root cause analysisCollaborate with QA & Software Development team to address reliability issues
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication skills, ability to present ideas, concepts in a clear and concise manner. Good level of spoken EnglishExperience designing and developing software solutions in a high-level programming language (Python, Golang, Ruby, etc..)Expertise in building large-scale, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environmentsAbility to take a problem, design the solution, and work independently to deliver the projectStrong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web ServicesProfessional work experience with Unix/LinuxExperience or have an interest in diving into the internals of Prometheus, Jaeger, Kubernetes, Kafka
