Introduction
IBM Technology Garage provides speed-to-value and innovation for our clients. We embed the IBM Garage methodology
into the sales cycle to co-create and co-execute an initial iteration of an MVP with the purpose to land and grow our
hybrid cloud platforms and establish IBM’s technical eminence and expertise with our clients. We are a “demonstration and
innovation team” that will prove IBM’s technology and services through co-creation. This Garage experience will validate
the particular technology or solution approach that leads to meaningful business outcomes for the client and grows
IBM’s hybrid cloud platform.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Site Reliability Engineer builds highly scalable, reliable and resilient systems, by applying software engineering to operations, acts as a bridge between development and operations teams. The responsibility includes:
Specializes in reliability and resiliency through automation, DevOps and data driven techniques
Analyzes root cause issues, problem determination and continuous improvement
Works closely with dev teams to build, test and deploy well engineered information system and ecosystems
Uses strong written and verbal communication skills with the team and stakeholders using teminology they understand

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Applies a software engineering mindset to system administration concepts
Possesses large scale systems management and programming skills
Uses knowledge of coding and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript and .Net, Node.js, Scala or Golang
Understands complex architecture that use technologies such as microservices, cluster management, containers and cloud
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Infrastructure Automation technologies
Demonstrate essential problem-solving skills and collaborates well with other members of the team
