Thisstandardestablishestestmethodstodeterminetheabilityofanelectricalconnectorandsocketstowithstandaspecifiedaccelerationforcewithoutdamagedetrimentaltoitsspecifiedperformance.

2Testresources
2.1Equipment
Unlessotherwisespecified,theaccelerationtestapparatusshallbethecentrifuge-typeandshallbecapableofsubjectingthetestspecimentothevalueofacceleration(gn)asspecifiedin4.2.Theaccelerationgradientacrossthespecimenshallnotexceed15percentofthespecifiedgnlevel.

3Testspecimen
3.1Description
Atestspecimenshallconsistofaplug,areceptacle,ormatedplugandreceptacle,asspecifiedinthereferencingdocument.
